Welcome to my personal blog, a space where I will share my experiences, learnings and projects in the exciting - and tedious - world of software development. I’m Samuel, a developer with almost 4 years of full professional experience in the sector (and a handful of years more of ‘tinkering’ experience), and I’m excited to start this new digital adventure, which although I have no idea what it will bring me, I’m sure it won’t be bad. I’ve added the blog functionality to my personal site for just that, to have a place to post my thoughts and share learnings that might be useful.
Who am I?
Ever since I was a kid, I’ve always been intrigued by how things work, and that curiosity led me to discover the world of programming. I started my journey tinkering with Arduino and implementing modifications to CMS like WordPress at a very young age, and since then I have explored several languages and technologies, including Python, Java or, more recently, JavaScript, especially under the Node framework. My professional background has allowed me to work on a variety of projects, from web and mobile applications to complex backend systems.
My hobbies include rock music, touring theme parks around the world and, against all odds, technology 😄.
